Christine and the Queens New Album OUT NOW: PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE

Christine and the Queens' highly-anticipated fourth studio album PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE is out now (Because Music). The record is a departure not only thematically but also sonically from Chris’s prior albums and takes direct inspiration from Tony Kushner’s play, ‘Angels in America’. Chris embarks on a voyage of self-discovery, paving the way for a captivating and introspective musical experience.

Highlights on the new album include previously released singles such as the soothing “A day in the water,” the hypnotic “Tears can be so soft,” the “thoroughly obsessional” (The New York Times) “True love (feat. 070 Shake),”and the “stellar” (PAPER) lead single “To be honest.” Chris delivered an outstanding live performance and “gut-wrenching rendition” (Pitchfork) of the track on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE is written, performed, and produced by Christine and the Queens, with co-production by Mike Dean (Lana Del Rey, Beyoncé). The album features guest appearances from powerhouses Madonna and 070 Shake. See the full tracklisting below.

Earlier this year, Chris performed at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which Billboard described as "truly captivating." Entertainment Weekly hailed his set as "a triumphant, theatrical performance well worth the wait." He also performed sold-out tour dates earlier this year in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.

Christine and the Queens is in the midst of an international tour which includes headlining shows and festivals like Primavera in Barcelona and Madrid, Glastonbury in the UK, Roskilde in Denmark, and C6 Fest in Brazil. This Fall, Chris will embark on a limited 6-city tour in North America with stops in Boston, Washington D.C., New York, and more. See a full list of tour dates below, and purchase tickets HERE.
